Great hotel

This is an excellent hotel. Therooms, bathroom and linen are very clean.. The staff was very helpful, arranged transport for us. It is centrally located, yet away from street noise. Ready access to temples and Shankaracharya mutt. Has a great restaurant nextdoor.

Good value for money

Firstly, it is to be noted that the Hotel is off the main road, with a rough muddy road as the approach road. This road is narrow and one gets a doubt if the hotel really exists inside that lane- but we found out that yes, it does!!
The parking is OK, but no way as neat and paved as the pictures shown.
The staff are very friendly, polite, courteous and helpful. One of them came the main road to help us navigate the rough narrow path the hotel.
The rooms are rather basic, but neat and self contained.
The restaurant in the hotel is very good indeed. THe food was excellent!

Reasonable hotel,Poor AC, no breakfast

Getting your car inside to park, is a nightmare (especially if you come in an innova). I came with elderly people and so they cannot just walk from road to inside. The security guard helped us get the car inside by stopping traffic and moving the sign board on the roads.
Reception are ma is not air conditioned and is extremely hot.
I had booked two rooms. AC in one room was effective (106). AC in room 105 was horrible. They shifters me to anther room (104). AC is sub par.
There is an elevator to go up and so that was nice.
The water faucet in bathroom room of 104 just came off the wall.
They had a VERY strong perfume or something that caused a bug headache and extensive sneezing. Many people are unaware of allergies caused by strong smells.
Not having breakfast is so annoying.
Further the coffee maker in 104 does not work. I never bothered to tell them.
Too many things were wrong
I did use the restaurant. Ordered food for 5 people. Hot and sour soup was really hot. They added kilogram of hot spicy powder. We sent it back.
Hope they learn and improve.
The driver accommodations were good as per my driver.

5 star care at 2 star rates

Excellent location, rates, accommodation and restaurant. Rooms are well done with no feature missing. The staff are very friendly, prompt, willing to assist and I honestly can't think of a gap.
Good going SBK.

Nice stay

Hotel is clean and neat, well maintained, staff very courteous, good restaurent with complimentary breakfast.Decent parking and located at the heart of the city. Rooms and beds could have been bigger.
