Beautiful

We came here for 1 night, what a quiet area, nice view, nice room, very spacious, overlooking a pond. Friendly welcome from the owner. Lovely sleep and morning breakfast also delicious, fresh bread rolls, fresh egg, cozy large space. All in all highly recommended and we will definitely go back there again

Lovely place and lovely people

We stayed here for only one night as we travelled back to Scotland from Sweden. We were warmly greeted upon arrival around 8.00 pm and enjoyed a cold beer and talked with the owners. The bed was big and comfortable and the modern shower room was very good. Generally the rooms was spacious and finished to a good standard. We ordered continental breakfast for 7.30 am and also took the option of a packed lunch for the long drive ahead. Our dog also felt very much at home too and was keen to get acquainted with the ponies. I could have happily relaxed at De Turfstaeker for a couple of days and the surrounding area also seemed very pleasant.

Fantastic

What can I say . This B&B is amazing . The owners Maddy & Math can’t do enough for you . Nothing is too much trouble . Accommodation fantastic . Spotlessly clean . Breakfast was delicious . Room looks out on to a beautiful pond with ducks and other wildlife .
Only down side bring some ear plugs for the cockerel !
I am looking forward to coming back

So lovely!

When we wanted to go hike the dutch National Park De Peel, we were looking for a small hotel so we could go earlier in the morning.
Chose a cheap hotel, but then we stumbled across this B&B gem, that offered breakfast as well. Looking at the photo's that accompanied the website, we were sold.
Upon arrival, it did not disappoint either.
Next to their tea-garden, Maddy and Matt, have two self contained units for (lucky) guests, in a rural area.
Squeaky clean, nicely equipped and smelling great, I had no second guesses about shelling out €30 or so, more for this room.
As said, the room was cute and well equipped, spacious enough for two and the bed was one of the best I had slept in, for a while, in any hotel.
The view onto nice and quiet pastures through the backdoor was adorable. Stepping outside, sitting on the small bench, things got even better: so peaceful, only a distant dog and a frog were heard.
Breakfast was not among the biggest we had but it was certainly sufficient. And, we were asked if it was enough, so we could've had more, had we wanted.
But we wanted to hike.
Maddy gave us some 'incrowd tips' as to where the nicest hikes were and off we went.
Felt sorry we only spent one night, but I think we'll be returning here, in the not too distant future.
Well recommended!
