A week away on the cheap
The flat is basic but tidy it has everything you need in a self catering holiday.
It is wrong to call it a hotel as it's a flat in a serviced block of flats. The staff in the flats are nothing to do with your rental and all problems should be directed to the letting agency. That being said we had no problems it was easy picking the keys up and dropping them off if your nervous about this sort of thing it's best to email Fincas arena or ring them to sort out pick up etc they are very helpful. If you aren't into making one or two towels last the week or are fussy about your sheets being changed I'd take the hotel option.
We noticed a number of people arriving confused asking where reception was etc usually late at night. It's not that sort of set up once you get that sorted it's really easy.
I'd rent from the letting agent again but I'd probably get something a little nearer to the beach and the old town.
Levante was ten minutes walk the old town twelve to fifteen minutes given we are in our 50's and fit it wasn't a problem.
There are two good sized supermarkets nearby and your not far from a bar anywhere in Benidorm.
It is a residential block and was noisy at times due to children playing early morning in the flat above. You pays your money you makes your choice. Noise is a bit of a factor as it's all hard floors and the walls between the flats are quite thin. If this is likely to bother you I'd avoid.
Overall we had a nice chilled out week.

terrible experience
Where do I start. The room, facilities or the staff. All three were absolutely appalling. Three of us stayed here and to say we could’ve had a better stay in a prison is just taking it lightly. First of all on the advertisement on booking.com, it says the facilities include a spa wifi and a swimming pool (with water in)yes, the pool had no water in. After being catfished and clickbaited we eventually took the sauna (lift) to our very outdated Soviet Union looking room. Inside the apartment there was a stack of tiles in the utility room that have previously fallen off of the wall on the balcony. As there was visible marks where tiles have been stuck on. The beds were stained with some sort of substance and the curtains smelled of cigarette smoke. I 100% WILL NOT be staying here again, I wouldn’t kennel my dog here. I don’t have a dog….

clean comfortable but no onsite reception
A clean and tidy flat that is situated in a local neighbourhood. Once you have stayed here it does grow on you, the pool facility is great and was nice and quite. The location takes you outside of the Benidorm hustle but is only a 10 min walk away. This is in a Spanish neighbour hood which is great, a good place to stay if you looking for a Benidorm holiday without mixing with the Egg chips and beer louts.

Great Apartment
I just got back a week ago or staying in these apartments, the key collection was fine, it was only a few mins away, i would suggest jotting down a wee map as we did search in the wrong street. We had to put down a 150 euro deposit for each apartment and got it refunded a few days after we left.
The apartment itself was clean and spacious, although a little dated it was great.
In my one, the kitchen had 2 hot plates, oven, toaster, microwave, kettle and all the plates and cutlery that you need, there was a washing machine in the utility room which was a bonus, oh and it had a ironing board but no iron.
The living area had table and chairs, sofa with pull out bed underneath and a TV which only had spanish channels, for an extra charge you can have english channels, i think it was about 20 euro for the ten day.
The bedroom was clean and tidy, 2 single beds and matress was really comfortable, i think it was some kind of memory foam, bedside tale and a double built in wardrobe and it had extra blankets if you need them.
Bathroom was fine, everything that you would expect.
Balcony was spacious, table and chair and a clothes drier.
I got clean sheets and towels half way through the stay and i never got bothered again.
On a whole i enjoyed the stay, the building was quiet, the only noise was from the street. It was 10 mins walk to the beach, the old town and new town, there was big supermarkets just around the corner.
Would i stay here again, Yes!

You get what you pay for.
Clean, spacious apartments, though a little dated in decor. Nice pool area: pool doesn't officially open till June, but the garden area is accessible and a nice place to sit. I wouldnt recommend going with children ,as there are signs by the pool banning practically everything except quiet swimming. No inflatables etc. Key collection was a pain, as we arrived at approx 11pm, and not knowing the area, we got a bit lost, which was stressful. Do your research before you get there, as these apartments are way up in town, and a good 20 minute walk to the seafront. All uphill coming back! Taxis are approx €6, so not cheap if you're using them often. Definitely value for money though if you don't mind the walk.
