Fantastic and cosy hotel with the best service! ★★★★★We just had the most wonderful stay at Daisy Hotel in Tsilivi, and we can warmly recommend it to all who are looking for a relaxing holiday. But upon arrival we felt incredibly welcome. The staff is extremely warm, welcoming and does everything to make you feel at home. The atmosphere at the hotel is unique, quiet and very familiar. The pool area is a true little oasis – super clean, welcoming and the perfect place to relax with a cold drink from the bar. The rooms are bright, neat and clean, and they have exactly the basic facilities you need for a sun holiday. The hotel is located in a peaceful area so that you can sleep uninterrupted at night, but it takes only a few minutes to walk down to the fantastic sandy beach, the cosy restaurants and the shopping life in the centre. A big thanks to the entire team at Daisy Hotel for making our holiday in Zakynthos unforgettable. We will definitely return!

Very disappointing, won’t be returning…

I’m genuinely disappointed with my stay at the Daisy Hotel in Tsilivi, and unfortunately it’s not somewhere I would return to. What should have been a relaxing holiday turned into ten days of inconvenience, poor standards, and feeling generally unwelcome.
From the moment we arrived, things went wrong. We were told that the room we had booked wasn’t available due to “plumbing issues” and were moved into a completely different room, far away from the rest of my family despite specifically requesting to be close together. This meant living out of suitcases, trying to make the best of a room we hadn’t chosen, and feeling separated from the people we were travelling with. Three days into the holiday, we were told we needed to move again, which meant packing everything back up and going through the whole process a second time.
The room itself was extremely disappointing. For a self‑catering holiday, the facilities were almost non‑existent. Our original room had nothing but a kettle. No hob, no proper cooking area, nothing that matched what was advertised. Even after moving rooms, the “kitchen” consisted of a kettle and two rusty rings that didn’t feel safe or usable. The fridge was in a cupboard that didn’t shut despite being closed? The mirror was cracked in half, plugs were hanging out of the wall, and the general condition of the room felt neglected and poorly maintained. It didn’t feel like a space prepared for guests, let alone somewhere you’d want to spend ten days. Sheets in my room which were deemed clean were also heavily stained!
The atmosphere wasn’t helped by some of the staff, who were not particularly friendly or welcoming at the start of our stay. While some warmed up slightly over time, the first impression was far from positive. The pool area also raised concerns. Across the entire ten days, the pool didn’t appear to be cleaned once. The water never looked fresh, and there was no sign of regular maintenance or care.
To make matters worse, despite being on a self‑catering holiday, we were told we couldn’t eat or drink our own food around the pool. This felt unreasonable and restrictive, especially considering the lack of proper cooking facilities in the rooms. It added to the overall sense that the hotel was more focused on enforcing rules than providing a comfortable, enjoyable experience for guests.
In addition, we also had to pay €115 euro per room for air conditioning in 38° August heat, which felt completely unreasonable, we come to Greece every year and have never had to pay an extortionate price to just keep our rooms cool!
Overall, the Daisy Hotel failed to meet even basic expectations. Between the room issues, the lack of facilities, the poor maintenance, and the unwelcoming atmosphere, the holiday became stressful rather than relaxing. Sadly, this hotel didn’t deliver what was promised, and I wouldn’t return. I would say it is more of a 1 star than a 2 as advertised…

Your week at Daisy Hotel

We had a great week here at the Daisy Hotel. The rooms are fine and are in good condition. Good beds, cleaning every day with new towels and air conditioning in the room. We had rooms away from the road and the pool. That was preferable. There is also a refrigerator in the room. Breakfast is not very exciting, but is ok. There could well be upgraded a little. There were mostly sun loungers for everyone at the pool, although there were several who laid a towel without using the sun loungers. Nice distance to Tsivili with good restaurants and shopping.
