Best host ever! Best stay in Egypt.

David Hostel is so amazing! Do not make any of your Visit Egypt plans until you talk with or email David. It’s his mission in life to provide a superior budget travel experience. I wish I’d started in Aswan. David provides excellent tour options and advice and will also get the best Aswan to Luxor cruise option for you. I had a CLEAN private en-suite room for an unbelievably low price. Contact him directly at his own website. No need to book through a third party! Enjoy!!

Very noisy location, Services were not provided, Not that clean

The hostel isn't that clean and David didn't deliver what was promised. Location is VERY noisy all night. The windows don't close all the way or block out sound, so all you hear is loud talking, singing, prayers, and people on the street all night. It was a cheap price, but I ended up switching to another place that cost a little more but was way more comfortable.
We booked online and it said dinner was included, yet we never got any dinner the days we stayed. We even asked the front desk girl and she was just unhelpful and told us to out and eat if we're hungry. Made us feel bad about asking for something that they said was included with our stay. Bathroom wasn't that great since it's shared with several other rooms.
Location was not near anything walking distance. You needed to get a taxi for everything.

The best Service in Egypt

The best hostel i booked in Egypt in my entire trip, and the cheapest one as well. You won't believe but i paid just 5 USD per night for a private room. They picked me up from the train station the day I arrive for free and they did my laundry for free as well. I feel so embarrassed paying just 10USD for 2 nights. But the best oart and the reason why i am writing this review is because i left a pizza in the fridge and the next day I found just the leftovers. I talked to the owner, but just to let them know, not like a complain, but 10min later they brought me a homemade Pizza. i was in shock lol. They are doing too much.

Poor and bad experience

This man is rude first night I went late found the room with no water soap napkin not even a basket a private room underground very noisy and he wanted me to go buy a water in the midnight by myself
The bed was making noise and moving and no one cares I couldn’t sleep for 2 days
And all people say in the comments he is helpful but he is not

location wise and i felt home away from my comfort zone. thanks sir David for all the help and free tasteful breakfast food ! i will definitely recommend this hostel so that others may experience what i felt like!
