Excellent hotel

Staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel is in a central location along the river within walking distance to the castle and the old town market with a lovely riverfront view. Take advantage of the rooftop restaurant -- the view is extraordinary especially at sunset, the service was terrific, and the food was delicious! We also enjoyed the pool, hot tub,and sauna. The breakfast buffet was one of the best!

A poor effort from Radisson

We ordered an accessible room, and this was confirmed. When we arrived we were told the only available accessible room had faulty air con, so they "upgraded" us to a tiny room, with part of the skirting board on the floor, and a cotton bud left on the bathroom floor. This was still there 3 days later. We wanted breakfast in bed, but there was no card to leave outside the door. So I had to get dressed (defeating the whole purpose of having breakfast in bed), and I went down to the restaurant to order the breakfast in bed. I was handed a tray and told to get it myself ! Breakfast was no more than average. No egg cups for boiled eggs, which were so hard boiled that they had that nasty black ring around the yolk. And they were cold. All the "hot" dishes were barely warm. No milk in one of the coffee machines. No staff members to take room numbers or assist. Restaurant staff barely the right side of just being rude. Room servicing very poor. The breakfast tray was not taken away, but they took away the glasses, mugs and spoons that were already in the room and never replaced them. Mentioned poor cleaning at reception, and just got a shrug of the shoulders. I thought Radisson's motto was "Yes we can". After this, it should be "We couldn't be bothered" Hotel is in good location, just 10 minutes walk from Wenceslas Square, and if you plan to just use it as a place to sleep for the night, I suppose it is OK. Small bar, with one friendly barman, and one lady bar person who grunted and forgot how to smile.

Great location, dog friendly

Centrally located hotel. Basic restaurant and bar. Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast room was heaving with about 200 Americans when we were there so it was a bit difficult to find a spot to eat, and even to get out of the hotel as they all waited to board their buses. But, the front desk staff were really helpful and gave us great advice and assistance with parking outside the hotel, as our car was too large for the hotel parking. We had a room at the top of the hotel, a converted loft room with a terrace. It was very hot but there was (noisy) air conditioning. Our family room as clean and comfortable. But we found it a bit expensive. The hotel welcomes dogs.
