Charming Location and People

This was a great location about a minute walk to Pile Gate, from the early 1700's with a nice private garden, 3 tortoises and a small church. The owner and his daughter were nice, friendly people.

Great location, great price, lovely room

The place was a bit difficult to find at first. Once we got there we were greeted by a young woman who's parents own the place. The rooms are on the top floor of their house. Our room was a lovely, very clean room near the shared bathroom. The bathroom was clean as well. The air conditioning unit worked well which is very necessary in August. Our hosts were all lovely, helpful, accommodating. I was very sick and they even gave me some cough drops!
The best thing about this place is the location! It is literally steps away from the main gates to the old town of Dubrovnik. PERFECT location.
Another perk for us as budget backpackers was the price. It wasn't worth it in Dubrovnik to stay in a hostel with bunk beds and share a room with 8 people when it cost 45 euros a night per person for a shared room!! Our stay at Veranda Rooms was cheaper since we were traveling as two people. And since it's not "budget" accommodation it was also one of the nicest places we have stayed while backpacking through Greece, Italy, Croatia and Hungary.

Schöne Unterkunft in zentraler Lage

Sehr saubere und funktionale Schlafräume mit gereiltem Bad (3 Doppelzimmer teilen sich ein Bad). Auch das Badezimmer war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der Besitzer war sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und extrem hilfsbereit. Hat uns sogar unsere Bustickets bezahlt, da wir noch keine Kuna hatten. Die Lage ist perfekt. In einer kleinen, RUHIGEN Seitenstraße 250m vom Haupttor zur quirligen Altstadt.
