Pathetic ... Will Never return to this Hotel.

It was one of the worst experiences with Ramada Till date, the Hotel staff were informed of my Wyndham rewards Diamond Status before arrival with a request for upgrade, despite having a bigger and better room they kept me in the same room, on asking about upgrade they said we have upgraded you to a Mountain View ????? ( the hotel is surrounded by tall buildings with mountain peeping through these building, we are viewing the mountain or Mountain is viewing us ?
Room was pathetic , unhygienic , Basic not worth the price being quoted, you can get better rooms (similar size , but designed well and with better upkeep) in other brands. The linen was torn , old , the towels were polyester, didn't absorb water. Not expected from a Hotel with Ramada Branding. The hotel owner seems to be stingy , hotel was doing good occupancy and with the kind of rates they are charging and the minimum staffing they are maintaining, I am sure there profits are good. Especially when they are not providing drinking water, tooth brush etc in the room, you need to buy them from a dispenser kept in the ground floor lobby. (other hotels are providing water in recyclable glass bottles, recycled / bamboo tooth brushes etc as a sustainable practice.
The security staff at ground floor were good, cooperative and empathetic. But on the other hand young staff members at the Reception - RUDE. Every answer was given in a taunting way.
Breakfast in all Ramada Hotels was always something we look forward to. Even if spreads are small they are usually good. But here it was a pathetic but medium large spread. 1 type of fruit in a small plate kept on buffet (refilled after many requests), same items every day with just one potato item being changed. No Coffee.... when requested were shown too a Tea dispenser filled with Instant Coffee (brutal taste). Slice Breads only..... No Croissants, Muffins .... (oh my god .. I really was sad looking at the food), Soya Sauce and Oil dripping Noodles with vegetables not even visible...., Scrambled egg like was made by some one first time in Kitchen. so we had to make do with Boiled egg, slice bread, sausages and tea...
Only plus point the location , close to MTR, Tram and walking distance central.
I am supposed to be travelling to Hong Kong now for 4-6 days every second month but, I am never returning to this property again. There are better hotels for much lesser price.
I redeemed my points worth US$195 Per night for this property , and later found out on some platforms they sold the room for US$55 a night.

The Worst Hotel in HONG KONG

the Ramada Hong Kong Harbour View hotel based on my recent stay. Unfortunately, my experience was highly disappointing.
Firstly, the room was extremely small, and the bathroom was even smaller. The toilet space was so tiny that it felt as if it was designed for a child rather than an adult, making it very uncomfortable to use. Additionally, the photos displayed on the hotel’s website appear to be heavily enhanced with AI, as the actual rooms do not resemble those images and are far less appealing in reality.
The breakfast provided was very poor quality and not worth the 80 HKD charged. I was quite dissatisfied with both the variety and the taste of the food offered.
Another issue I encountered was regarding the electrical outlets. Since Hong Kong uses three-prong plugs, I requested a 3-socket adapter from the receptionist. To my surprise, I was told that the hotel does not provide adapters and that charging phones in the rooms is not permitted due to alleged electricity issues in Hong Kong. However, the receptionist then suggested that I should purchase my own adapter. This contradictory information was confusing, and overall, the receptionist’s attitude gave the impression of being uninterested and unprofessional.
This hotel is 0 star!

Bad.

I didn't like the hotel. The biggest claim: cleanliness. The room is very dirty. Bed linen, towels, all around with obvious traces of dirt! There was a desire to buy a domestos and clean it up. Visited an eerie sense of squeamishness. Patches of black hair everywhere (on the floor, in bed). No words... towels in holes. Bed linen in black spots. It's the first time I've seen a hotel lack cleanliness like this. Worse than in African small towns! The room itself: very small. Very much so. You come in, right in the sink and right in the bed. Visually, the room is much smaller than the declared area. Food: very modest, but if for a couple of days - tolerable. Coffee normal. There's a terrace no one uses for some reason. Soundproofing: Bad very. The noise of the next room's water is like right next to your ear. Fortunately, the neighbors didn't make much different noise. View: if you take a room more expensive, it will be with a good view and on higher floors. There's no point in considering this hotel without it. No view at night. Windows require cleaning from the outside (do not open, by the way). Plus, because of the location of the species, there's no night time. Because it's overlooking the far side of the Colwon Peninsula, and it's already less beautiful. Hotel itself: staff is good. There's a place to leave your luggage. 38 floors, last floor swimming pool with view (9:00 to 9:00). The Internet works well. The room has shampoo, shower gel, hair conditioner and soap. There is no drinking water, but there is a store right next door (water from 4.5 H$). Metro meters at 250 (exit A). Nearby there is a market with dried sea bastards, including shark fins (from H$1150 per kg, a small fin cost H$52). The market does not speak English at all, make screens of pictures of necessary animals in advance. Bottom line: I'd strongly recommend looking at another hotel. This hotel is not worth its money.

The photos aren't indicative of what you're getting into. The rooms were so tiny and shabby. The bathroom was so small that your legs were in the bathtub when you were sitting on the toilet. It was so bad that we immediately booked another hotel after the first night. Beds were so hard and lumpy, carpets threadbare. Awful.
