Cool old building

We stayed here a couple of nights while our bus to Mendoza was delayed
because of snow. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We
stayed in a dorm but had it all to ourselves. It was rather quiet but
this is likely because it was mid week in off season. Basic but clean
facilities and very cosy and warm. Very cool old building!

Too dark

Had a lovely stuff at the reception especially Alejandra was so helpful, breakfast wasn't bad either , hot showers and everything just a vibe missing tho the hostel was too dark, it really is a gothic place.

Nice stay

The place is located 5 minutes walking from "Los "Heroes" underground station and from the bus coming from the airport.
Quiet area, clean rooms. There is a small patio where should be lovely in summer, I visited on winter so not much action outside. Breakfast was included in the rate but as I left early I couldn't taste it.
The people from the reception and the family who runs the place are very nice.
The only negative point is the hot water is not very hot.
Reasonable price.

Good hostal, comfort depends on what level you're on

We stayed at this hostal twice. It was super cheap, and really close to the red metro line.
All the rooms have massive lockers, the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean and cheap (though ran out of toilet paper a little too frequently). Great hot water, good wifi.
The first time we stayed on the upper level and it was brilliant, super quiet. But the second time we stayed we were on the lover level next to the TV room and dinning area and it was as noisy as hell which sucked. So if possible request the upper level.
The breakfast was ok, bread and jam and high sugar cereals. Hungry pretty soon after though.
Good budget hostal.

fail

The Hostel is located in a pretty strange area. There are no people outside, not even cars are driving or parking.
The people are not very social, everyone is doing his own thing. Even the stuff is very unfriendly. My Roommate got robbed and called the police. He asked the stuff to translate for him but they did not help. I asked if i can switch to another bed cause there was wind blowing in my face during night. Although the 6 bed room was occupied with 3 people they said its not possible, cause they dont want to pay the cleaning service for 2 beds. The beds above are pretty high and there is no ladder to climb. All in all i left after 2 nights .

Very good location
