Resting place for retirees

We are camping here almost every January/March since 2008. It is on the beachside, it is self-catering, it is very well looked after, here we can either walk on the beach or sidewalk for 15 minutes to shops and restaurants. The staff at the Ocean View are ALLWAYS helpful and friendly. There is a big pool right in front of our apartment, one step from a lovely terrasse, we are in the pool. If we want to have a dip in the South Atlantic, we have to walk on white beach for 50 meters. There is a big nice BBQ in a separate house. We have now flights with KLM from Bergen, Norway via Amsterdam and the hole trip takes about 14 hours. The manager of Ocean View , Mr. Gerhard Beulke, has preordered a taxi for a pick up at the airport. So what more can you demand. WE love it and we can recomend Ocean View to all who like to listen to the waves rolling in on the beach and for them, who likkes to enjoy to use one of the worlds best KITING beaches. You got something to look forward to.

301D/202C

A wonderful few weeks. Christmas and New Years. For a family occasion rent the barbecue/entertaining area near the pool. Walking distance to the village, yoga studio next door that also offers Thai Massage. Daily early morning beach walks a must... do a dune buggy ride on the mountainous dunes, Zip line to a river that can be part of your ride. The village feels like an isolated spot that is 20 minutes from the city.
Back to the apartments.. 301D is multi level, facing the beach, overlooking the massive pool, wonderfully appointed with a full kitchen. 202C is a 2BR with a large living room, great for entertaining. Our family rented both to accommodate everyone and ate meals together in 202C
A great time was had by all... can’t wait to go back!

Best time ever in apt 202c, 301d

Beautiful apt- very spacious. The staff is working hard and very lively and helpful. Very tidy and perfectly maintained. We walked ling hours on the beach, played in the waves and swam in 2 big pools... the walk to the village is short and bars and shops are close by. Had the best time ever with family and friend. Best hotel/aparment for rent in Cumbuco

I was here more than 10 times. I am returning to Cumbuco every year and stayed in more hotels in Cumbuco.
After I find Ocean View couple years ago I always stay here.
Best locality on beach and very close to city centrum by walk.
Next to it are 3 restaurants Kitecabana, Outro and Vila Conquieros where you can have a drink or eat.
Rooms more than 100m2, European standart.

Service, Staff and Manager are HORRIBLE

There is a lack of information in the extra charges. Be prepared at the checkout for the surprises, because they will try to charge as much as they can… They charge electricity like if you live in a mansion, and they clean the apartment once per week but is mandatory to pay extra fees for that. Also the manager is a rude person, unhelpful, misbehavior.
