Very good traditional cuisine and a family atmosphere
Vomperhof offers a family atmosphere and excellent cuisine! Nice that there are still landlords who are friendly and accommodating, offer very good and varied cuisine and take care of the neat and clean rooms lovingly. I would definitely come back. Thank you for the pleasant stay and continue all the best!

Convenient and friendly
This guesthouse was just what we needed. Very close to our destination. It was Quiet and secluded. Breakfast was included and was fine for the price. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming.
There is a car park if you’re driving. We booked with the hotel directly!

Excellent value with all the basics plus a few nice surprises!
A pleasant hotel, very clean rooms with the essentials...this is a true 2.5 - 3-star establishment. The rooms are a bit spartan, but spotlessly clean, well-lit at night. Your room key will also grant you access to the lobby when the desk is not staffed. We think the room rates make this establishment a very good value.
Mattresses (firm but in good shape). Some beds in some rooms are low platform beds...not ideal for very elderly when you try to rise from the bed. White linens, smelled fresh and clean, soft pillows, but not many unless you ask for more. Some rooms on the lower level are accessible from the convenient upper parking lot, which only holds 6 cars; otherwise, when busy, you must park in the lower lot, a bit inconvenient.
Ample towels and liquid body wash dispenser in stall shower, instant hot water and strong (plentiful) water pressure. Many rooms don't have a tub; ask for one if you want one. TV with about 25 channels, CNN in English and one English channel, a few from France and Italy. Phone in room, so you CAN call other rooms/front desk/restaurant. No room service. Some smaller rooms with twin bed are rather modest...no window, but a large double-pane glass door, with sheer drapes for privacy that lets light through. Many rooms have a terrace; they are not cleaned on a regular basis. Rooms with larger terraces might have a chair or table/chairs. Some rooms face towards the autobahn and may have a view of the nearby mountains.
No air conditioning, but summer nights were cool. Decent breakfast (cheeses, meats, limited fresh fruit, breads, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, waffles/pancakes, cold cereals, coffee from a machine but good quality. Restaurant is open 3-5 nights in summer; they have a Wednesday night ribs barbecue that is fairly good! The bar stays open until just past midnight many nights. There IS an elevator; the hotel consists of three separate buildings, thus there are tiny differences in levels so floors between structures have a tiny 4-6 cm step up/down; some areas are not accessible to/from elevator. Not sure there are handicap bathrooms.
Downside: proximity to autobahn means you hear traffic on the road. There are limited nearby restaurants you can walk to. Best bet is to dine in Schwaz. Try the nearby Klostergasthaus Fiecht - in summer, there's an open garden plus in-house dining on chilly nights. Limited hours/choices in nearby stores. Better shopping in Schwaz.

Nice food but service lazy
It was our last evening of a wonderful holiday. We were a group of 7 and due to the recommendation of a local we visited the Restaurant for a last big dinner. We got there at 8PM and ordered drinks and asked for the menu. I was the only one who spoke German so I asked for English menus. The waiter said you speak German you can translate. I thought he was joking and laughed and he walked off and did not return with the English menus. I called him back after a while and said I do need the English menus please. He was not impressed but went to get them. We ordered straight away no starters as we decided to get lovely deserts for us and ice creams for the children. The food came fast and it was nice. We ordered some more drinks and when we were finished I asked for the desert menu and the waiter said the kitchen is closed. No warning that we might want to order desert before they closed it at this point it was 9PM. We were all very disappointed especially the children. Needless to say the waiter did not get a tip and the chef had a nice early finish. What a disappointment

Below Average
Not too bad, the breakfast was below average shower soap was not changed during the 3 days I spent in this hotel. The wifi in this hotel is the worst I have experienced you have to stay in the reception area before one can be online
