A wonderful vacation

Rooms: Clean, perfect. 10/10
Breakfast: Nothing is missing. Freshly prepared egg dishes, coffee specialties, fruits... everything the heart desires 10/10 (I will ignore the broken salt shaker)
Restaurant: tastes are known to be different, but we were thrilled five times during five dinners. 10/10
Pastry shop: Cakes, pastries, chocolates... everything the heart desires. Lovingly prepared and served 10/10
Ice cream shop: one of the best ice creams we have ever eaten. Simply dreamy (although: 30 minutes without chocolate ice cream in the display is simply unacceptable) 10/10
Staff: Attentive, polite, not intrusive. Simply great. You have a wonderful team there. 10/10
Conclusion: a delightful vacation week, and no one can do anything about the weather 10/10

Every time a great vacation

Beautifully located with everything you need in one house. Whether delicious food, the Wiener schnitzel, or tasty fish, pizza, or a delicious ice cream, everything is very good. The breakfast buffet with homemade treats is a wonderful start to our day every morning. We are already looking forward to July again.

We have been spending our holidays for years at Dankl with the warm owners, Robert and Suzana! Feeling great there! This Christmas the kitchen has surpassed itself! The Christmas menu was sensational and super delicious ! Seems to be getting around as more guests enjoy the delicacies every year! Keep it up, dear Dankl Team! We will be back soon:)

Food and Service disappointing, ice cream great

We stopped at Cafe Dankl and ate there for the first time. Unfortunately only disappointing, from Service to food. At the schnitzel the spongy breading came loose and the fried potatoes did not deserve the name. Not really delicious in terms of taste or consistency.
Something positive: the ice cream always tastes good.

Xenophobia in the Dankl Pastry Shop

Just disgusting. An elderly woman, supposedly the head of the house, unkempt with mediocre German skills, is extremely rude and issues xenophobic slogans. If this is the familiar tone in this business, then you can't recommend it to anyone.
