Without reservation ...

... actually no chance. We were passing through and happened to be passing by. The place was almost full, only two tables left but they were reserved. Asked the boss if we could do an hour and we had one of the two tables. Food and drinks were really very good, the prices absolutely moderate, so all together worth a recommendation.

Very nice view and location

The location is close to all small villages like MELK and others. the river is 40m from the room, you can enjoy in hot days. the hotel team is very nice and will help very much. breakfast is also nice and generous.

The Wirtschaus Gruber Weitenegg is a very nice Hotel Restaurant located in leiben, lower Austria, beside the Danube River offer the different kind of Austrian food, the staff are nice and Food was good

Unforgettable last minute dinner!!

We didn't have a place to have dinner and we chose the restaurant of this Wirtshaus! Absolutely nothing negative to say! Everything is beautiful and clean. Food was amazing, service was really friendly and authentic! I even repeated the soup!!! Will recommend and come back for sure!

Quiet spot right by the Donau:

We wanted to vist the monastery at Melk and could not get the hotel we wanted in Melk itself.
This place is on the other side of the river from Melk and in a small village close to Emmersdorf which had a few restaurants for eating on an evening without a long drive. The property was quite nice with spacious and clean rooms with well appointed en-suite facilities. Nothing special to write home about but good for a stopover and reasonably priced as well.
