Beautiful view, good food

Went here for a couplr of lunches during skiing. It is a seld service restaurant on top of Gerlitzen. The service is quick, you never wait too long for your meal.
The fiod itself is quite good Austrian type with good Wiener schnitzel, sausages and grostl. They also have somr good beers including craft beers.
If you can eat outside since the view is amazing.

Choose the sun loungers

The restaurant of this hotel offers self service only, just as most establishments close to an upper station of a funicular, but by choosing the sun loungers just outside the outdoor seating area of the "Gipfelhaus"will bring out a waiter who will inform politely what your order is. And will serve the order to your table. (An upside down wooden vegetable box). So when choosing the outdoor seating area of Gipfelhaus Gerlitzen, select a sun lounger. By the way, the coffee is good.

Great rooms, food only so-so

We had a great welcome and had a very welcome beer in the bar outside before we were shown up to our room.
Our room was wonderful. It was newly refurbished with lots of wood and a view over the mountains.
The only let down was the food which was a bit disappointing and the breakfast was fine but a bit uninspiring.

Essen Katastrophe und auch Service unfreundlich

Das Tiroler Gröstln nicht zum esssen!! Bei Reklamation nochmals den selben Frass bekommen. Kein Austausch gegen andere Speise. Kaum Kartoffeln oder anständiges Fleisch dafür jede Menge Fett. Personal unfreundlich!

Schöne Zimmer, freundliche Aufnahme und Betreuung. Nach dem anstrengenden Aufstieg aus Arriach tat es gut, auf die Täler hinabzuschauen, am Abend ein vorzügliches Menü zu genießen und den Tag mit einem gediegenen Glas Wein ausklingen zu lassen
