Great Lake Placid Stay!

I was originally booked at the Saranac Lake BW but the town had a water main break and no water so I called the BW in Lake Placid and they were able to get me into a room for a couple nights - although a little more expensive which was a drag.... but the stay was very good.
The Room on the 2nd floor was very spacious, beds were decent, although a tad hard.... bathroom fan is always on when the light is on and it is LOUD but other than that, the room was really nice.
The pool and hot tub are great, very very nice area and relaxing!!
I missed the continental breakfast so can't comment. Location of this hotel is perfect, right across from olympic building/arena. No elevator so book first floor if you cannot carry your luggage up a flight of stairs, otherwise, the 2nd floor rooms are super nice.
It is an older building but has a ski lodge vibe to it! Nummy cookies in the lobby were nice and water when I checked in.
I would definitely stay here again!!

Great location, needs a renovation

We stayed at the hotel for a hockey tournament that took place across the street. Wonderful location. close to the beach and the rinks. The hotel is in dire need of a renovation. The rooms have visible mold and strong smell that was hard to get out of clothing after the stay. The door lock to the shared patio was broken.
Staff was nice and accommodating with our group

The property is dated but it has some charm. Our room was clean. We stayed only one night for the World Cup in ski jumping competition so we chose this hotel because mostly every hotel was booked.
There is very limited parking space. But the stuff was very nice. The breakfast was included and good. We might stay here in the future because we value the cleanliness.

The room was a little dated but very comfortable. The only complaint we had was the parking lot which was not cleared very well of snow. There should have been more effort made to clear it. Guests parked randomly and in some cases took up 2 parking spots. That left people getting in late at night with no place to park. 2 giant tour buses also took up a lot of space. If they had parked off site that would have left room for other guests.

Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The hot tub nice and relaxing. Adirondack Inn is located on the near restaurants, the speed skating oval, Olympic Center and a short walk to to Lake Placid's main shopping area and more restaurants.
