Przyjemny pobyt, usługi profesjonalne
Pobyt w Ramada Colombo, choć na jedną noc, był całkiem wygodny i niezapomniany. Przybywając z Indii do Kolombo i biorąc taksówkę dalej od lotniska BIA, byliśmy dość zmęczeni, ale ciepłe powitanie na samej werandzie odebrało znużenie. Lokalizacja tego hotelu przy Galle Road jest bardzo idealna.
Oczywiście z powodu nieprzewidzianych okoliczności i zdarzenia bezpieczeństwo zostało dość zaostrzone. Za każdym razem, gdy wchodzisz do hotelu, pomimo tego, że personel wie, że jesteś gościem, będziesz sprawdzany, podobnie jak bagaż. Prosimy współpracować dla większego dobra i bezpieczeństwa nas, innych podróżników.
Pokój był dość przestronny, z biurkiem i krzesłem, łazienką, sejfem, żelazkiem elektrycznym i dużym oknem z widokiem na Galle Face i okoliczne budynki. Spread śniadaniowy był odpowiedni i miał wybór dla Indian, lokalnych Sri Lanki i innych międzynarodowych podróżników.
Ogólnie był to doskonały pobyt na jedną noc. Szkoda, że nie mogłem zostać dłużej i cieszyć się gościnnością

Not very clean and needs an overhaul
I am astonished by the positive reviews for this hotel. Our room was unclean, smelt badly of damp and it needed to be redecorated.
We arrived after 20hrs of travelling, quite exhausted. The reception area looked good and we thought it seemed like a nice hotel until we reached our room
Our room on the 3rd floor was very dusty and it smelt badly of damp. Had we not been absolutely exhausted, we would have certainly complained, however we just wanted to sleep and knew we just had one day in Columbo. Over the next day I found the tv did not work, the iron was stuck on 1 temperature and the sheets were stained. I have taken a few pictures to share here but they do not recreat the smell of damp!
In terms of service, there seem to be an abundance of staff here. Sadly though, they seem to like chatting with each other rather than serving guests. For example, the bar was pretty much empty but I still had to remind the staff member that I had ordered drinks.
The only positive thing I can say about this hotel is that the pool was good for swimming lengths.
Having stayed in quite a few Ramada's in the past, and enjoyed them, I realise I cannot rely on that in future. I just wonder how these other reviews are so glowing....

Hotel was clean n good. Room was big n comfortable beds. Good choices for breakfast buffet. The beach was walking distance n shopping centres were close by.
