Great is the only word

We had a great experience at golden tulip nizwa. The hotel is very very good. They offer a great hospitality and a wonderful breakfast. The hotel is very clean and neat. And a special thanks to sohail. He's very kind and helpful. He suggested Good places to visit near nizwa and go beyond the duty to help our trip successful.

A Comfortable and Scenic Stay at Golden Tulip Nizwa

Our stay at Golden Tulip Nizwa Hotel was a wonderful blend of comfort, hospitality, and stunning Omani charm. Nestled against the backdrop of the mountains, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat just outside the bustle of Nizwa city — perfect for both relaxation and exploration.
The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with all the essentials for a restful stay. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive throughout, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.
We loved the hotel’s beautiful pool area and open courtyard — ideal spots to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast buffet was generous and offered a great variety of both local and international options.
Whether you’re visiting Nizwa for culture, adventure, or simply to unwind, Golden Tulip is a reliable and comfortable choice. Would definitely recommend for families, solo travelers, or work trips alike!

I stayed in 3 hotels in Nusa Dua, Gland Tulip Nusa Dua more elegant, beautiful, and clean the residence hotel, the building, the ingredients, the restaurant.

The best hotel, the food, the great crew and especially the brother Ali from the reception, shy, shy and smiling, with answers to our inquiries, comfortable parking and the pool, the hotel and sessions in the halls, clean and spacious rooms, very comfortable mattresses and narcotics, long-time sleep deprived, and a rescue.

Very nice hotel with great atmosphere but room for improvement in the play area

Very nice hotel with great atmosphere, but Here is a structured review for TripAdvisor that clearly presents both the positive and negative aspects:

Very nice hotel with great atmosphere but room for improvement in the play area
We are currently at the Golden Tulip Nizwa Hotel and overall very pleased with our stay. This 4-star hotel offers a beautiful atmosphere that is felt as soon as you enter the welcoming lobby.
Positive aspects:
• Nice pool area: Of particular note is the inviting pool area, which invites you to relax both during the day and in the evening.
• Wonderful dinners by the pool: The food was superb, and the opportunity to eat by the pool in the evenings was something we particularly liked.
• Clean and tidy rooms: The rooms were cleaned regularly and thoroughly so we always felt comfortable.
• Friendly staff: The whole team was very accommodating and friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
Negative aspects:
1. Defective play equipment in the children's area:
• The table football box is not usable because the handles are missing or have slipped.
• The air hockey game was initially out of service due to a faulty power cable. Although it has been repaired, the air supply does not work, so it is still not playable.
• The PlayStation was also broken and could not be used.
→ Proposal: Either repair or remove the equipment to avoid disappointment in the children.
2. Massages not available during Ramadan, but still advertised:
• Massages were not offered due to Ramadan, which was no problem for us.
• However, it would be helpful if this was clearly communicated – either through a notice board or by removing advertising during this time.
Conclusion:
Golden Tulip Nizwa Hotel offers a beautiful atmosphere, excellent food and a great pool area. Especially the friendly staff ensures a pleasant time. However, the defective playground equipment should either be repaired or removed to avoid disappointment to guests. Communication on unavailable services could also be improved.
Overall we had a nice time here and can recommend the hotel – with small improvements the stay would be perfect!

Perfect base for travelling to and around Nizwa

Conveniently located just outside Nizwa, the rooms are comfortable, the staff are helpful and welcoming and everything is well appointed.
The outside buffet is lovely by the pool in the evening .
It would be five star . The only downside was there are a lot of tour parties coming in which slightly spoils a lovely atmosphere.
Don’t miss the “Oman across the ages museum”
