Very good hotel within walking distance of Phewa Lake

We stayed at this hotel for two nights in February, 2025 and had a great time there. There was some confusion initially during check in and although we booked a Suoer Deluxe room through Expedia, we were told it was not in there list. Eventually we got the room of our choice. The hotel is in a nice location within walking distance of Phewa Lake and is in a resort like setup. The breakfast spread is really nice. The dinner menu offered is equally good. We had some issues with bathroom plumbing and overflows due to that but it was taken care of promptly.
The best part of this hotel is its top quality service and hospitality. The shortcomings noticed during our stay were overcome with great sense of cordiality and attentiveness and an honest approach to provide top quality customer satisfaction. All the staff had friendly and welcome attitude but two of them, Sudip and Babita stood out as exceptional.

Our stay at Hotel Barahi was wonderful. The staff were gracious hosts and the travel desk arranged a wonderful two days of guided sightseeing with Yam, who showed us so much of the city! The Nepalese culture night was so enjoyable. Highly recommend a visit!!!

Pokhara Barahi experience

We had a lovely experience here at Pokhara Barahi stay. Fantastic chef, services and staffs! Awesome atmosphere. Overall clean. Staffs are friendly and approachable. They show concern towards customer. We would recommend our family and friends! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beautiful hotel with the sweetest staff! The place to stay in Pokhara!

I had the most wonderful time at Hotel Barahi! The staff is so friendly and helpful (many thanks again Laxmi for everything and making me feels so special)! The Barahi is beautiful and clean!
I was drop off at the tourist bus station by Yam Bahadur, who is an excellent driver, very respectful and helpful too!
In total in spend 2 days in the Barahi, one day before and one day after my 5 day hike, and when I came back it felt like coming home. Such a beautiful peaceful vibe. The food is also very good! I wish I could have stayed longer! I will definitely come back again!
