Great staff, greatest breakfast, good sleep
My top three why I would rebook this hotel:
1) The breakfast buffet is just AMAZING with all kinds of tastes (Malaysian, Indian, Japanese, Westerners) with my top picks: DIY-Laksa, Soft boiled eggs and kaya toast, eggs any style from the egg station with salmon on mini hash brown), almond croissant and coffee muffin with fresh cuts of various fruits - but there is so sooo sooo much more to choose from and that you can enjoy with your favorite kind of coffee with a view on a waterfall.
2) Their amazing staff - does not matter if reception, lobby, breakfast buffet (special thanks to Amdad, Rubel, Ferra and Wong) and at the gym&pool. Always welcoming, kind, supportive and ready to go the extra mile.
3) The spacious room with huge bed in which I slept always very well.
I hope I will get chances to travel again there and staying again at Intercontinental Kuala Lumpur.

Exemplary
This was a mother/ daughter visit for her birthday.
We arrived at about 7am. The wonderful staff allowed us to swap a breakfast to THAT morning… rather than the last morning where we would leave at 5am. This was great. By the time we had enjoyed the wonderful breakfast buffet … they had a room ready for us. Totally unexpected.. but immensely welcome after the long flight.
The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean and the twin beds were super large ( almost double beds)
Bathroom was very spacious also with wonderful amenities..
We weren’t in our room long before a chocolate cake ( birthday) and some fruit was delivered to the room. What a wonderful touch.
In the 5 nights here, all staff have been amazing. The concierge helped us with taxi/ grab bookings and advice, the service staff keep our room immaculate, the breakfasts were excellent and staff very friendly, and the front desk staff were so helpful and friendly.. Also enjoyed 2 meals/ drinks at BENTLEYS BAR. Very enjoyable ( best pizzas ever!!)
And a shout out to the wonderful staff at the JADE SPA. .. Best massage and choc scrub … so wonderful and relaxing. .
And I cant forget the friendly gentlemen at the pool … how he knew my name when I picked up my pool towel- I’ll never know. ??..
All staff here are a credit to the business. Thank you all .

Fabulous stay with Fabulous staff
What a great hotel in a central location only a few minutes from the Petronas Towers.
We stayed for 5 nights in a club lounge access room.
The room was large and was spotlessly clean with great views.
What makes this hotel special is the staff. Without exception we were greeted with a warm smile and everyone wanted to make our stay special.
We spent quite a bit of time in the Club lounge where we were looked after exceptionally by every team member. They have many awards on display and I can see why they have been won. We had breakfast there along with daily afternoon tea and drinks in the cocktail hours and food early evening .
Everything was fantastic.
It is difficult to single out any team member as without exception the service was amazing but we did want to mention Jabid who made a special effort to chat to us on several occasions in the lounge and was a pleasure to speak to

A great hotel with great staff.
The Intercontinental Kuala Lumpur is on Jln Ampang and is well served by Ampang Park LRT station. As with most hotels in the Intercontinental brand, it is of excellent quality with 5 restaurants on site including Japanese & Chinese cuisine, the hotel bar is decorated in the traditional English pub style. If you can bag yourself a king premium club lounge access room, and enjoy the warm atmosphere and great service in the club lounge. The room is large at over 40 sq Mts with separate shower and bath in the bathroom, all the usual amenities, tea & coffee as you’d expect and the bed is lovely and comfortable. A great hotel with warm friendly and professional staff. A great base to explore Kuala Lumpur.

Very good service
A very beautiful hotel located in the city. The breakfast was amazing and the lobby was very stunning. Check in was very quick and the staff at the check in desk was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were immaculate and the cleaning staff were very good. All the staff were very attentive.
