Room was comfortable although not great for tall people due to the sloped ceiling.
Nice hot tub and good location to see the northern lights.

A good start and end to our holiday.
I emailed beforehand and requested a ground floor room, which we were given. The rooms in the main building were small, and very basic. Very little storage space, and the shower didn't have a closing door. I was a little disappointed when we first arrived, but soon accepted it. The beds were comfortable, and it was handy to be able to reverse the car right up to the door for packing up the car in the rain, and also we were able to walk to the breakfast area without getting wet. The people coming from the cabins were coming in quite wet.
It was useful to be able to make a tea or coffee at any time, and we felt there was a good selection at breakfast. The staff were very good, replacing items as soon as needed.
The beach was a short walk away, and we saw a beautiful sunset.
The hot tub area was very good, with a hot room and a sauna.
On our last night the manager knocked on our door to say we could view the Northern Lights, which was a lovely end to our holiday.

So Disappointed
Added to this, the breakfast was the worst that we have had in Iceland. Overall just appalling accommodation for price paid!
