Amazing experience at the Reef!
10/10 experience at the reef. The staff, ambiance and the cleanliness of the resort was amazing. I was upgraded to an ocean view king size bed room, including bath tub. The staff really takes care of you and makes sure you have everything you need. The resort is very close to the airport and the hotel can arrange transportation for you for extra charge. The food was also great and very tasty. The free buffet breakfast every morning had lots of variety. Will miss this resort and I’m sure to be back! The bed and pillows were also very comfortable! The pictures really does not do it justice and is way better in person.

Wonderful Pleasant Stay
Our stay was extremely wonderful from start to finish. The quality of service is curated for customer satisfaction. Please allow me to state some notable items and names:
Josh: He was our first touchpoint when I called to reserve. He was very thorough in explaning what the Mother's Day promo was. When I had a work emergency, which prompted me to cancel / move the booking, he granted this despite the very short notice. Everything was moved to last weekend except for the flower arrangements, which we completely understood because items like this are bought in bulk. But moving the reservation alone without any fee, plus still including the Mother's Day Package, was still more than what we could ask for.
Concierge: I forgot his name but he had long straight hair. He assisted us with our luggage all throughout and explained to us where it will be led. He was very kind.
Louise: She greeted us and was very nice as well. When she gave us our fobs, she suprised us with a room upgrade, which turned out to have one of the best morning views in Mactan. She also booked the Spa Treament for us. When we got to the room, she called to ask how the room was and if we were able to properly settle. Very kind of the front office team.
Arthur: He has always been our waiter ever since we started going to Reef. You would easy know where he is because he presents a big genuine smile. I remember that in the past few visits, we even talked about both our babies because he too has a 3-4 month old baby. I like how he can be open without having to intrude. It establishes a personal relationship with guests.
F&B Manager: I didn't get her name but we would like to mention her here for her customer service in our previous visits as well. I left my card in The Bakery last month. When I was able to claim it, they discovered that they handed it over to their head office in Banilad. She offered her sincerest apologies and even semi-squatted on the floor while explaining as a sign of apology, which I realy prompted her to sit down on a proper seat so we can discuss as equals. Very pleasant.
Addy: I'd like to mention him because my wife and i already know him since his days in Sheraton. He was our suki waiter at the bar back then. He's seen us transform from being a BF/GF, to being engaged, and now with a baby. When we sat down for breakfast, he offered us Sikwati right away while asking about our stay.
Spa: The therapist was really kind and gentle to my wife. Nothing was rushed. Everything was set in a very cool and slow environment. When my wife got out of the spa, she had a very big smile on her face - my biggest priority :)
Thank you so much, The Reef Team, for making our stay a lovely one. We were still able to celebrate Mother's Day because of you.

Wonderful staycation
This is a 4 stars Hotel that gave me the impression of a 5 stars instead!
We stayed here 1 nigh before departing from Cebu, and despite I did not appreciate the location (it is very close to abandoned fields and a truly poor neighborhood) I think it is perfect for a staycation. Because otherwise, if you want to go out, you have to drive quiet a bit and there's not many food options nearby.
Back to the hotel, I was amazed by the service offered from the staff. Everyone was so polite and professional, helping us with our luggage and bringing it to the room (this is usually not a standard in 4 stars properties).
The room itself left me surprised: Spacious, simple but elegant, and despite we booked a standard room we still had a view of the ocean!
I also liked the bracelets used instead of the classic keycards, i found it very convenient: you just wear that in your wrist and scan it to have access to the elevators and rooms. No risk of loosing your key!
The breakfast was also amazing and tasty, and the pool was the cherry on top!
Overall the facilities and the entire property look modern, clean and top notch.
The only negative thing that I will add is the price range at the restaurant. I found the food offers to be too expensive for Cebu's standards, and portions too small.

Great location right near the diving spots
The experience was magnificent. The hotel is first class very peaceful friendly and not overbearing. The fitout is first class I love the pool the beach and that I can do yoga there and of course go diving. Well the room is very comfortable and yes the pillows are perfect too.

An all-round excellent overall package
Beautiful hotel with great and thoughtful architecture in a perfect location right on a sandy beach with lava rocks in the background. The three pools (warm pool, cooler pool and kids pool) are always clean. Lifeguards on the beach and by the pools always ensure safety - even for the children. For the little ones there is also the Kids Club where they can experience a variety of games and different Things to do. The bathroom is well above the Filipino standard and equipped with plenty of beautiful marble. The view of the sea and the beautifully designed and planted hotel complex is wonderful. There is a good small coffee machine and an electric kettle for tea. The excellent and varied international breakfast and the extremely friendly staff deserve special mention. It was our best hotel experience in the Philippines so far.
