A hotel that's really suitable for families! There was a pond for children to feed swans and ducks - simply ask the reception for the feed. There was a lake where you could row boats. Some facilities are under renovation and should be available in coming months.
Room - our room was located on top of the hill facing the tea hills. Splendid view! Our girl loved the balcony and the rattan lounger. The bath tub was huge. One down side is that there was no proper cover of the bathroom from the bedroom. Buggy was always available to ferry us to where we want to go.
Service - the staff were all very professional, helpful and friendly. They offered to store our stroller without us asking! They offered us local born eggs at check-out! I'd love to accept them but it'd be difficult to bring on the plane.
Breakfast - selection was alright. More Chinese than international. But alright with us.
Location - it's always 30 mins away from the attractions - train station, bamboo museum, acdc deer park.
I will definitely introduce the hotel to my friends who want to visit Anji!

Beautiful complex, even though it’s winter, still plenty to do. We enjoyed the hanfu experience ( you have to pay extra for the makeup and photography) , the villa with the bathtub and the view. Breakfast was ok, hotsprings were nice but many pools were closed and I didn’t like the locker room - very cramped , nowhere to sit, no lotions/ swabs etc, it’s not cheap and I feel like maybe they could improve that. Everything else was great, I’d like to return in the summer for their outdoor pool 🐳

Great weekend, getaway. The on-site hot springs definitely is a must. Booked a great deal with many activities available for guests. Happy with my stay.

We’ve booked the round house with balcony. Really liked the location next to the tea plants with a great view to the surrounding mountains. Super friendly stuff, had a warm welcome even at 11pm check-in time. Thank you for switching on the heater prior arriving at that cold night😊

Location at the end of a tea hill valley within nature is very beautiful . Service and food are very good and staff is lovely, also with the kids. It can be the perfect getaway for some night/long weekend.
BUT !
Currently (beginning of October 2023) there is a lot of ongoing construction in the hotel area. In total three construction sites with heavy impact on view, piece and quiet of the countryside hotel. Especially the rooms/villas located on the hill are impacted.
Hotel staff was lovely to find a solution and alternative room. Rooms in the main building are less/not impacted from noise, but didn’t fit perfectly our needs as family of four and they are lacking the Mountain view (construction view). Looks like construction will last for a while…
Hotel management should be transparent and inform in advance about the ongoing construction. After construction is finished it can be paradise again…
